Graduated in1970 from Ball State and moved to Prince William County VA to teach 6th grade for 7 years. Master's in Counseling from VA Tech 1974 and began middle school counseling in 1977. Became a single adoptive parent to 2 sons in 1986, Chris age 6 and Derek age 2. Moved from Manassas to building a home in Warrenton in 2000. Retired as a middle school Director of Counseling in 2006. But I've substituted for counselor's on long-term maternity leave for the last 10 years. Became American "mom" to Indian couple who earned MBA from VA Tech and went to their wedding in India. Spent 2months in hospital/rehab from gall bladder surgery/pancreatitis Fall 2015. Now very appreciative of good health, good friends and more time to enjoy life! Looking forward to seeing WL classmates in June and catching up! |
