Posted 5/22/16 Hello everyone.... So, when I attended the 20th reunion, there was a 50th reunion being held at the same hotel. I was shocked when I saw the attendees - they looked so old to me. And 30 years later, here we are feeling and looking better than they did, I am sure. I have already lined up a great source to give me all the details about the reunion and I hope you have a wonderful time. After protesting the Vietnam War and graduating from IU, I ended up working in retail as a department store buyer and then moved on to wholesale jewelry sales for 20+ years. Following that, I worked part-time for Kraft and P&G. I am currently retired in FL with my husband, Mark, and spend my time volunteering with animals. I have been doing so for 15 years and it is definitely my passion. I am the volunteer coordinator, and a foster parent, for a local no-kill animal shelter. I also take one of my dogs, a certified therapy dog, to visit residents of retirement centers. She makes everybody smile! I have lived with type 1 diabetes for 52 years and am doing quite well. I hope all of you are also. Enjoy each day and remember to adopt from your local animal shelter and to spay and neuter your pets. All the best.... |
