I graduated from Purdue in 1970. Stayed in WL one year and then moved to San Diego where I worked in a bank and lived with Lynn Merz who used to live in WL. I met my husband Gregg who was originally from Michigan, went into the Marines, did two tours of duty in VietNam and then returned stateside to go forward with his education. We got married in 1973.

In 1978 NCR moved us to Dayton. I was a mom and parent volunteer and active as a district officer in my sorority for 11 years. In 2004 I decided to get back into the work force and took a job at Carillon Historical Park in Dayton which eventually became Dayton History, an umbrella organization which owns and manages multiple locations in the Dayton area. In 2011 I became the Volunteer Coordinator for this non-profit private park. Now I recruit historical interpreters and volunteers who work in archives, restoration, special events, living history, National Aviation Hall of Fame, etc.

I have two sons, Jeff and Brad. Jeff works for Nordstrom's in Seattle. His wife is in residency in internal medicine and plans to specialize in geriatrics. They have a son, Beck, who is 3. Brad lives in Dayton and is in audio production and sound. Gregg is retired. We have raised and/or rescued 7 dogs in our 43 years of marriage. Currently we have a male chocolate Lab, Jake, that we rescued and we love him!
