Posted 3/23/16 I have four grown up children, 3 living in UK and 1 in the USA, and 9 grandchildren- so far. My husband was given a knighthood by the Queen in 2006 so I am now officially titled Lady Kira Dalton. Unfortunately Sir Howard died aged just 63 of a heart attack in 2008. Since then, having retired early after a very successful career in Management Consultancy, I spend much of my time in Gambia, West Africa. I set up a small charity ten years ago called the African Oyster Trust. It's built and continues to run 5 nursery schools, a hospital and 2 clinics - which keeps me pretty busy. Whenever I do have any spare time I enjoy reading, swimming, visiting friends and family and travelling more widely around the world. Particularly to places with Japanese gardens. |
